The Church of God in Stoke-on-Trent belongs to the worldwide Churches of God in Fellowship of the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Church here in Stoke was planted in 1897 and has been praising God continually ever since. Now, as over the last 100 years, we extend a warm and friendly welcome to anyone wishing to attend a service with us.

Regular Services:

Lord’s Day (Sunday)
Remembrance
10:30am-11:30am: The breaking of bread and taking wine as commanded by the Lord Jesus, followed by a time of spirit led remembrance and praise to God for the work of Calvary.

Sunday Evenings:

We do have various evening activities which are dependent on where the Sunday falls within a month as follows:

1st Sunday in the month – Church prayer meeting 5:30pm – 6:15pm.

2nd Sunday in the month – Church prayer meeting 5:30pm – 6:00pm followed by a Ministry meeting 6:15pm – 7:00pm.

3rd Sunday in the month – Church prayer meeting 5:30pm – 6:15pm.

4th Sunday in the month – Friends & Family Service 5:15pm – 6:15pm. This is more of an informal service with tea/coffee and biscuits served before and after.

5th Sunday in the month – Church prayer meeting 5:30pm – 6:15pm.

We occasionally hold different services (Easter Services and Carol Services for example) and/or may tweak the above services/timings at short notice. Directions from M6, Junction 15

On leaving the M6 motorway, at the roundabout, continue straight ahead, joining the A500 dual carriageway. Continue along the A500 for approximately 1 mile. Take the first exit and at the roundabout, turn left onto the A34, heading towards Newcastle-under-Lyme. Continue on the A34 for approximately a quarter of a mile. Take the right turn into London Road. Continue along London Road for approximately 1 mile. Chamberlain Avenue is on the left hand side, just after the London Road Social Club. The Assembly Hall is at the bottom of Chamberlain Avenue on the left.
