John’s Gospel divides itself into two parts. The first part contains chapters 1-12. Here we find the seven signs that John selects from the life of Jesus; signs that point convincingly to Jesus being the Messiah. At the beginning of chapter 13, where we now start the second part of John’s Gospel, we discover we’ve suddenly been transported to the upper guest chamber of a house in Jerusalem. Each chapter of this study book will view that room from a different angle: as a war-room, wash-room, dining-room, guest-room, waiting-room, plant-room, function-room and finally as a prayer-room. The certainty of Jesus’ teaching in that room, and the assurances he gives, leaves believers with no room to doubt either him or his wonderful promises. (eBook, PDF)
